Chris grew up on Lake Sunapee and graduated from Colby Sawyer College and Stanford University. After a stint in the Peace Corps in Guatemala, she spent 25 years in the Foreign Service in Central America and Egypt with her husband and children. As a result, she is fluent in Spanish and can bargain for a rug in Arabic.

When she and her husband, Tom, moved back to the states, they decided to make New London home.

She joined the Coldwell Banker Milestone team in 1999, and besides listing and selling properties in the Greater Sunapee area, she became certified as a Senior Real Estate Specialist, in order to focus more effectively on the special needs of seniors. Chris has been very active in the community serving on the Boards of Lake Sunapee Protective Association, New London Conservation Commission and New England Handicapped Sports Association where she is an adaptive ski instructor certified to teach the blind to ski.
